Stateline Diesel Performance and Stateline Customs were founded out of a passion for quality, attention to detail, and customer service. Jake Engle is the owner and lead mechanic, after 15 years in the motorsports industry working at Hendrick Motorsports and Stewart Hass Racing Jake decided to retire from NASCAR to be closer to his wife and two children. Always having a passion for diesel trucks he went to work at a local Ford dealer as a Diesel apprentice and quickly moved to a main line technician also achieving his Ford certifications.
After 4 years at the dealership, Jake knew there was a better way to serve his customers. That is when he went to the drawing board and Stateline Diesel Performance was open for business in November of 2020. Over the last few years, Jake and the crew at SLDP have dedicated themselves to creating a world-class repair and customization facility with state-of-the-art equipment and the ability to deliver quality repairs with unmatched attention to detail and customer service.
