I've wanted to find a reliable diesel repair shop for my 2001 F350 7.3 PS for routine maintenance. While preparing for my annual cross country camping trip my transmission decided to dump some fluid in the driveway. Much better to happen here than in the rockies imo. My search for a local repair shop led me to State Line Diesel in Rockhill, SC despite being a hour away and after meeting Matt and seeing the shop I know I made the right choice. To some, the facility may look in disarray but as an aircraft QC supervisor I found it organized and staffed with experienced techs who actually care about their work and helping others. I would highly recommend anyone needing diesel maintenance to check out State Line Diesel. Their attention to detail and the special projects they build and sponsor convinced me I've made the right choice.

I'll update my post after my truck is completed (diesel truck repairs take time) and I'm back on the road. These guys are definitely worth your time and business.

What i liked:
They were able to get me in quick and worked with me on a timeline to get me on a trip. I believe that they know what they are doing and have the experience to handle issues with vehicles. They even put on new parts that had provided within my timeframe which is something that is hard to find. They are straight forward also which I think is a positive.
What I wished were better:
Communication of when things got in since I was on a time crunch and needed to know what I needed to do for my trip. The work performed was not complete once I got the chance to look at things, I found that my grill was not fully in place and none of the screws were tight, they were on but not secured. Once I got into the truck, new codes were introduced after the work was done but original code was gone. Come to find that the MAP sensor was never plugged back in causing them. I check the fitment of the parts, one of the couplers looks like it is out of the clamp allowing an air leak. Looking to the turbo itself, it is a brand new upgrade that comes with the a new actuator with it, now either it got some dirt in the time that I have had it or it is actually the original one that I had an issue with before which prompted me to come here. I cannot confirm that but it is working so I assume it is the new one, considering. These things are fixable but were overlooked, especially with coming out of repairs with new codes I figured there would be more commitment to service. They also kept my old parts that I provided so no core necessary.

Overall understanding all of this, I still would recommend and come back here for my bigger issues. Things happen but they are good at what they do and get you back on the road!

The team at Stateline has always helped me when I was stuck, I just drop truck off and they get me fixed. They are not just a SEMA truck building shop , they help with all types of maintenance of your average Joe truck drivers

I have a Cummins... they've helped me out a lot, they're good people and know what they're doing.

I drive here all the way from Charleston because I know they'll take good care of my truck. It's more than just a truck and they understand it, any issue I've had with my truck they knew exactly what it was to fix it. So now they do all my diesel work, it's worth the trip for me.

Good, honest, hard working people that have taken care of me, and my vehicle every time. I do not usually leave reviews but I have been searching for a good diesel shop for years often leaving me to do the work myself.
Thankfully someone recommended me to Jake at Stateline.
They took my truck in, communicated through the whole process, and got my truck running better than it ever has.
I highly recommend Stateline diesel performance and will be returning in the near future.

Jake was fantastic to deal with, my daughter had an issue with her Ram Eco Diesel which was tuned already, being from
Canada and a long way from home I wanted someone I could trust to help her out and understood tuned trucks. He did what he said he would do, and did it well, no bullshit, highly recommend this shop for diesel or anything truck. If I lived anywhere near them I would be a regular.
