Our owner and lead mechanic, Jake Engle, worked in the motorsports industry for 15 years, both with Hendricks Motorsports and Stewart Hass Racing. When he decided to retire from NASCAR and spend more time with his wife and three children, he began working for a local Ford dealer as a diesel apprentice. With hard work and passion on his side, he quickly became the main line technician and achieved his Ford certifications.

I was pulling my 5th wheel to Florida when I started getting engine light and trouble codes on my F350 dually as I was going through Charlotte around noon. I called State Line (15 minutes away and on my route) and Jake said stop in, we will look at it right away. There was plenty of room to back up my 5th wheel and unhook. Jake offered that we could stay there overnight if needed, he even offered to let us plug in for electric. They immediately diagnosed my issues. Jake communicated with me for approval and said they could get me back on the road before 5pm. We hung out in our camper and around 4pm Jake backed the truck up to our RV and said you're ready to get back on the road. I can't thank you enough for the immediate attention and getting us on our way. Overall wonderful experience with Jake and the team at State Line Diesel!
